"Brightest Flower of Early Spring" $350
I named this painting after the poem by Reena Choudhary entitled “A Scent of a Daffodil”. Daffodils, and their little siblings Jonquils, rank among my favorite flowers. Their cheerful appearance fills my heart with hope every year. They are literal trumpeters announcing the arrival of Spring. How perfect then that even the shape of the daffodil is like little golden trumpets?
Jonquil still life in a tarnished silver sugar bowl set against a Persian prayer rug.
ABOUT THIS PAINTING
Oil on Arches Oil Paper mounted on Baltic birch panel. 5” x 7”. Comes framed. 2022.
