Remember my paint splattered table cloth from my previous blog post? Here is an awesome example of my 9 year old student Kira’s (yes I said 9) still life painting utilizing that same table cloth and painted from life in acrylic. She took a little liberty with the table cloth pattern but hey, that’s called artistic license! I love all the paint dabs/graffiti marks that she included on the tablecloth, an idea highly suggested by me (cough) in the manner of one of my favorite painters, Duane Keiser. The marks alone remind me of an abstract painting. Love it Kira! Great job!
